Zimbali Coastal Resort Rules are unique and require more understanding since our homes are integrated into a mature and established Nature Coastal Forest Resort . This nature eco estate mandates a total different set of Rules compared to normal suburbia rentals rules.

House Rules:

Dear Guests, Once again Thank you for choosing our home. I am VJ , the caretaker/house manager, for the home at 20 Tinderwood  Loop, Zimbali. Kindly share the below House Rules with all your registered guests.

CheckIN and CheckOUT Times

CheckIN time is 3pm. 

CheckOUT will be at 10am. Thereafter ZAR 1,000 per hour for late CheckOUT.

How to Enter Zimbali Coastal Resort

1. On arrival at Zimbali Coastal Resort, please proceed to the 'Zimbali Welcome Centre' located just before Zimbali North gate Entrance for you and your guests Registration and Biometrics Access.

2. Zimbali will not permit entry for any persons without either of; drivers Licence, ID or passport.

3. All ID’s are required to be present with each guest at CheckIN for biometrics registration.

No Smoking

The home INTERNALLY is NON SMOKING, NO VAPING and NO Hooka. Fines will be imposed for smoking at the home.

Zimbali Code of Conduct

Kindly note the Rental Code of Conduct for Zimbali Coastal Resort which includes but not limited too;

1. No pets, No parties, No visitors, No noise disturbance (please NO boom boxes and NO external speakers).  Zimbali Security does regular monitoring/patrolling and monitors for noise very closely and fines will be issued by Zimbali.

Guests Age and Gender Restrictions

1. Our home does not cater for a ALL male group

2. 50% of the guest group must be above 28 years of age

3. Copies of All guest IDs must be provided 7 days prior to CheckIN

Children and Infant Supervision

CHILDREN MUST ALWAYS BE SUPERVISED during your stay.

Additional Guest Charges

Guest Count and Additional Guest Charges:

Your total allowed guest count includes Adults, Children, Infants and Babies. Once your approved guest count is reached our charge rates are as follows;

a. R500pn: infants=kids under 1 years old

b. R1,000pn: Children 1 years to 12 years

c. R1,500 : 12 years to 16 years

d. Individuals that are 16years and above is NOT allowed once your guest count is reached. Zimbali will deny entry and fines will be imposed by both ZEMA and Zimbali Guesthouse.

Vehicle Entry and Parking

1. The home caters for 4 cars to park in the yard. For additional cars you must speak to the house manager, VJ, to make arrangements if additional vehicles can be accommodated within Zimbali. 

2. Two complimentary guest cards, for cars are provided with the booking, further guests cards for additional cars are available at an additional cost of ZAR 110 or so per card , from Zimbali Welcome Centre.

Noise Policy

There is ZERO Tolerance to Noise. No house parties and playing of music outside the home , especially No form of External Speakers is allowed.


To Confirm:

a. There will be NO loud music, no external speakers and boom boxes type speakers.

b. By 9.30pm all noise / sound will have to be kept internally within the home. Screaming and Shouting in the house is not allowed, since sound travels.

c. All my neighbours have young children and elderly parents. Neighbours will be going early to bed and hence all noise will have to be kept at its minimum.

Whats Provided at the Home

1. Bedding: Bed Linen, Pillows, Bath and Hand Towels supplied  (1 set per guest). Beach Towels not  supplied.

2. Toilet Rolls Supplied at CheckIN Only. NO other Toiletries supplied. Please carry your own extra toilet rolls, toothpaste, bath soaps, body shampoos, bath scrubs/body sponges, shower caps.

3.  Kitchen Items Supplied: standard cooking appliances, stove, oven, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots, pans and cooking utensils

4. Iron & Ironing Board is provided.

5. Please carry your own cellphone and laptop chargers and adapters.

6. Washing Clothes: Washing Pegs and Line provided. Washing Detergents are not supplied.

7. Dishwasher: Carry 'FINISH' tablets only if you plan on using the dishwasher.

8. Garage and Basement/Studio Room Located at basement: As per the listing this area is separate to the home and is not accessible to rental guests. The caretaker and his family resides there.

9. CCTV cameras: As per the listing the home has external CCTV monitoring which is always ACTIVE. This is for your safety and ours.
