To activate the gyser:

Outside the bedroom on the top foor you will see a gyserwise LED panel, as per the above picture.

1. The panel must always have the three RED tear drops illuminated. 

2. If the LED panel is OFF/blank/no illumination it means Zimbali is  being loadshedded. 

3. Once Eskom is restored you will need to press the 'Power" button on the panel and the three RED tear drop icon will illuminate,  meaning the gyser is ON/Active.

Additional Solar Information on our Guesthouse:

Prior to the launch of our Zimbali Guest House (affectionately called uBukwa) the reduction of carbon emissions was a priority. This was fuelled by the ever so often load shedding from where the idea was borne. 

1. Lights and Plugs: The home is Fully Solar Powered with Battery Backup for ALL Plugs and Lights.

2. Gysers: We have 2 x 200 liter Solar Gysers with Eskom Backup servicing the home.

3. Aircon: Aircons only operate with Eskom power.
